ReCS Architects has been called to carry out the work for the private room area of one of the most famous sushi restaurants in Milan. The client required 3 themed rooms to revisit the Oriental and Italian Renaissance styles. The two smaller rooms are “Ancient China” style, characterized by atmosphere and furnishings designed to recreate the style of Imperial China, the “Italian Renaissance” room is characterized by stucco and marble. The largest room, at the closure of a long dramatic corridor, is the one that represents the view of Chinese style on the present day. The double height room features round table of more than 8 meters in diameter with a central chandelier originating a double curved pitch roof. Stone coverings and wallpaper recalling the Oriental style complete the visual effect.
